De skireis is volzet / the ski trip is full!
Dearest snowlovers & adventurers!
As an annual tradition, Industria goes skiing during the week of break after January finals! This year, our final destination is… Saint Sorlin D’Arves! We’ve partnered up with Skikot to once again give us a legendary ski trip. We leave Friday February 2nd and return on Sunday, February 11th.
Saint Sorlin D’Arves is part of the ski resort of Les Sybelles. With 310 km of pistes, it counts as one of the larger ski resorts in France. Unlike last year, you do not need to buy an expansion pass to get access to the entire ski area! The full 310 km are included in the standard package. Les Sybelles is also a ski area that has a lot to offer for both the beginner and the experienced skier, with over 200 km of red slopes.
A tradition closely associated with skiing is après-skiing: après-ski is French for “after skiing”. The local après-ski bar helps you relax after an exhausting day on the slopes. It is common for skiers and snowboarders to meet up after their last descent and to share a beer (or something non-alcoholic – whatever you fancy) to reflect on the day and to talk about their adventures.
We can already promise you: the après-ski’s will not disappoint this year. Saint Sorlin is known as the best après-ski village of Les Sybelles, and, better yet, with La Grotte du Yeti as a bar it is even one of the better après ski villages of all France! This is the same bar as we had in Risoul and practically everyone that joined us can confirm that the Yeti was amazing! I know, we’re making some large promises here, but those Yeti’s are just something different from the usual après ski.

It makes perfect sense that you’d like to spend your week with all the necessary luxuries. This year, we have apartments with more luxury (and space!) than the past years.
Het is niet minder dan logisch dat je graag je week wilt doorbrengen in alle luxe die een appartement je kan bieden. Dit jaar hebben we appartementen met meer luxe (en ruimte) dan de voorbije jaren!
We’ll be staying in the Résidence Les Fermes de Saint Sorlin.
The apartments offer a great view over the valley of Saint Sorlin and are situated at about 100 m from the ski piste & lift. Situated close to the center of town. Near our complex, you can also find a couple of restaurants, a supermarket (Proxi Super) and the very best après-ski bar that the French Alps have to offer: La Grotte du Yeti! In short: the perfect location.
But that’s the outside: what does the inside look like?
There are rooms in varied sizes: 5, 6, 8 or even 12 people can fit in one appartment. Do keep in mind, the amount of rooms is obviously limited. The faster you book, the more choices you’ll have in room size.
If your group gets spread out over two rooms, shoot an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll try to situate your rooms as close to each other as physically possible.
Here are some more pictures of the interior:
Also, some more good news: every room has its very own DISHWASHER! Done with fighting over who will do the dishes when. Skiing, snowboarding and après-skiing is already exhausting enough, let the dishwasher do the heavy work!
Every room also has a balcony, a cooking set and a microwave/oven.
You are welcome every day in the Skikot après-ski bar: La Grotte du Yeti. Here, you’ll regularly find the Skikot & Industria monitors.
At the après-ski’s by Industria & Skikot, free drinks are distributed daily to all Skikotters. Sometimes, food is also handed out: in Risoul we ate Tartiflette (a local French dish) and in La Plagne last year we ate many Bicky burgers!
This year, you can expect a Totally Summer après-ski, Vedett après-ski, Totally Tirol après-ski and many more! What this all means, can be discovered during the ski trip!
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Yeti après-ski’s = legendary après-ski’s!
If there were only après-skis, you’d get bored pretty easily after dinner. But, worry not! Every night, we’ll organise a party to keep you occupied. You can expect a Skitchkot party, a Fluo party and much much more.
Party on the Mountain
As mentioned earlier, the Industria ski trip also gets you a “Party on the Mountain”. What’s that? We brainstormed together with Skikot to offer an exclusive extra to our travelers. Party on the Mountain is basically an afternoon party on a mountain (bet you never saw that one coming!). Think about a lot of free beer, a Big Air airpillow (always wanted to try a full backflip?), shooter bottles, snacks, a live DJ, … And only Industria travelers will be invited! So don’t expect a normal après-ski…
Skikot offers 3 foodpack formula’s. The foodpacks are delivered to the residence and save you the effort of going to the store each days. Each pack includes a daily breakfast, a picknick and dinner for 6 days. No need to worry about shopping, being hungry of eating unhealty!
- Foodpack Standard: €59,-
- Foodpack Gourmet: €79,-
- Foodpack Vegetarian: €79,-
